Set in the Tango region of Kyoto—a land boasting over 1,300 years of silk-weaving history—MORI WO ORU is pleased to announce a call for applications for our Transformative Tourism Pilot Tour taking place in November 2026.
Supported by the Japan Tourism Agency, this program invites forward-thinking organizations (brands, design studios, companies, NPOs, academic institutions) to immerse themselves in rich natural landscapes, the philosophy of master artisans, and a deep-rooted culture of prayer, fostering lasting inner and organizational shifts.
We warmly invite visionary partners who wish to encounter the origins of clothing and shape the future of sustainable creation alongside us.
1,300年以上の歴史を持つ伝統的な絹織物の産地・京都府丹後地方を舞台に、豊かな自然、職人の美学、そして祈りの文化に深く浸りながら、参加者自身の内面や組織のクリエイションに持続的な変容をもたらす「トランスフォーマティブ・ツーリズム」。
この度、観光庁の支援のもと、2026年11月に開催するモニターツアーの参加団体様（国際的な企業、ブランド、デザインスタジオ、NPO、教育・研究機関等）の公募を開始いたしました。
